2 hour introductory workshop

When women in their 40s, 50s and 60s think about what they would like to do with the rest of their lives, the idea of starting a business often comes up.  However, many of these women experience emotional and psychological barriers that can hold them back or prevent them from achieving their potential.

What’s The Big Idea? How Mid-Life Women Entrepreneurs Are Turning Their Passion Into Profit is an interactive workshop developed by Rita Strombeck, Ph.D., co-founder of the TIP$ Mid-Life Women’s Business Community, to empower women and encourage them to explore the possibility of starting a small business.

Based on extensive research conducted among successful mid-life women business owners, What’s The Big Idea? approaches entrepreneurship in a unique way that addresses the specific concerns of older women. The workshop identifies the myths many women hold about financial success, the terminology they may use to describe their business ideas, and the insecurities that may be holding them back. It also describes the strategies successful mid-life women have used to launch and run a successful business.
